Chris Bove always believed he would open an art gallery in Clarksville, but as the economy slipped in 2008 Chris began making other plans. If he couldn’t make art, Chris decided he would use his passion for making food and in December, 2009 Bove’s Dry Saloon opened at North Second Street. It became an immediate success with the local morning “coffee club” but it’s not only open for breakfast. Chris serves great lunch and dinner as well. Chris’ specialties are his homemade pizza sauce and Philly cheese steak sandwiches. The restaurant is family oriented and “kid” friendly. It seems kids find the décor especially inviting. As Chris says, “ you’re family when you walk in.”
