Save the date for Eagle Days 2013!

Eagle viewing season is upon us and there’s no better place to catch a glimpse of these beautiful birds than in Clarksville, MO.  Clarksville sits right on the mighty Mississippi and is home to Lock and Dam No. 24, creating an ideal place for eagles to hunt. During the last weekend of January, consider making the drive to Clarksville for our town’s annual Eagle Days Weekend.   Eagle Days takes place Saturday, January 26th from 9 am to 4 pm; and on Sunday, January 27th from 10 am to 3 pm. The Missouri Department of Conservation will have rangers on hand to answer questions as well as telescopes set up along the river banks for a closer view of the eagles.  Many churches and organizations offer special meals just for the weekend. For more information on Eagle Days, watch Visit Clarksville for updates or visit http://www.clarksvillemo.us/events.html.

We hope to see YOU there!
