The Harlem Ambassadors professional show basketball game is a fresh, family-friendly community fundraiser. Since 1998, Harlem Ambassadors, Inc. has partnered with hundreds of non-profit organizations in all 50 states and 20 foreign countries.
They’re coming to Bowling Green Missouri on November 13th 2012 to take on the best Pike County has to offer. And it could be Y O U!
This event will mark the first time the Ambassadors team has ever come to Pike County. The game is sponsored by the Bowling Green Rotary Club, and will serve as a fundraiser for the three scholarships that Rotary gives each year to graduating seniors in addition to their other philanthropic ventures and donations.
Event coordinator Buddy Bibb says he’s hoping for a great turnout for the Tuesday night game which will have an overarching Christian theme, and be more whimsical than competitive. Bibb is seeking 17 players to make up the local team, the Rotary All-Stars, that will take on the Ambassadors in a comedic and family-friendly game.
- Each player must be over 19
- Raise $170 to participate in the event
- Challenge the professional athletes
- Deadline to sign up to be on the Rotary All-Stars team is Oct. 13.
